Minutes May 3rd The South Central Ky. district of the American Christian Music Association met for it's state and district wide "Head
Board Meeting" May 3rd 2010 at Shoney's Resteraunt. Present were members of the "head Bord" and those members
who came to take part in the proceedings. The meeting was called to order at 7pm by The Chairman of the board (Chuck Gibson)
and opened with prayer. Minuted were read from previous meeting, and agreed upon. The financial report was then
given which was also accepted and deemed accurate and true. Unfinished Business: Unfinished Business
was then discussed Our Web-Site Renewal is $12,50 monthly $99.00 a year, our domain name was renewed for
$45.00. In light of the numerous hits we have been getting on our site, everyone present decided it would be best to keep
our web-site as is...due to an overwhelming amount of traffic to our site, this is mostly contributed to "search engine
optimization" provided by our host Domain Register.com and the abundant amount of back-links to our site elsewhere on the World Wide Web (WWW) (from outside sources) motion was
made (seconded) and moved onto the floor for a vote. The vote was unanimous and carried over into the minutes as an issue
passed and removed from "Unfinished Business" Again the video we made at W.V.T.N. was part of the unfinished
business discussed and has become a "real issue" The A.C.M.A. made for TV 2 hour special was not all that hoped
for and frankly was a disappointment for all who were attendance simply because the audio portion of the video had a bad buzz
in it. $200.00 was paid out for this program and we are all kind of upset with how it is being handled by W.V.T.N. staff and
management. They are taking it much too lightly and has not offered us concessions or our money back. The Head board decided
to appoint a person to follow up with this until we can resolve this issue. Resolution to the unfinished
business of Pulaski County Chapter Singing was discussed, sound-man to be there and set up at 10am cooks, and those that are
to help with concessions and cleanup crew to be there by 11am Sound Check to begin at 11am. Nominees to sing first then the
winners of the awards to sing again. Motion was made to accept the schedule and passed onto the floor for a vote and accepted
unanimously. The issue passed into the minutes as finished business. County Singings were then discussed, we have
only had one other county in our district schedule their annual Chapter singing. The Wayne County Chapter will have their
Annual County Chapter Singing Saturday June 19th at Wayne County Park (Monticello, KY.) Wayne County Chapter Leader Raeburn
Moore coordinated the event and wants all participants and Artists there by 4pm. you can check back later this month for an
update on this event. Other County Chapter Leaders are encouraged to let us know a.s.a.p. about their plans to host their
Counties Singings. Our Fundraiser was then brought to the table, candle sales were good for the most part thanks
to Rex Slfe who sold over a hundred dollars worth and $51.50 for the general fund. Thanks for all the hard work Reeves
Family. Other sales and orders are pending. Mom and Me candles are a very reputable candle maker, in business since
1996 everyone was commended for their efforts and a motion was made to seek out other products and venues for fundraising
and the motion was carried over into New Business.. New Business: Plans
for the A.C.M.A. Singing Convention were dicussed, The Gospel Singing Barn is one possible site for the convention. Motion was carried and passed into minutes as new business. September 11th 2010
will be the date for the "A.C.M.A. Singing Convention" times to be determined by the "Head Board" A
motion was made to dismiss and seconded, the meeting was closed out by prayer, at 8:30 pm.

Results Of The A.C.M.A. AwardsSaturday May 8th "The A.C.M.A." Presented our annual awards. We appreciate all the nominees that participated
in the Singing and awards ceremony. We didn't have a real big crowd but as my Pastor would say "We had a good crowd"
The votes were tallied and counted at our last meeting of the head board may 3rd 2010 and agreed upon as being accurate and
true. This years voting process was a vote from our peers, next year the board is considering allowing our fans, friends and
family to vote also, as well as adding new categories and those are Songwriter, Song, and Artist of the year. If you want
a say in the voting process you need to attend monthly meetings going on within your county chapter or district. This
years award for "Group Of The Year" went to "The Reeves Family" This years award for "Duet Of The Year" Singing Evangelists This years award for "Solist Of The Year" Tim Ellison This years award for "Best Male Vocalist" Chuck Gibson This years award for "Best Female Vocalist" Jean Slife
