Gospel Outreach based in southeastern Hugo, Oklahoma, is a versatile Booking, Merchandising and Marketing Agency as well as Ministry!.
ABOUT TOMMY D.
Tommy D. was born in Little Rock, Arkansas September 18, 1946 to fine Christian Parents and He also had fine Christian Grandparents, He was
an only Child and never blessed with siblings. He was never spoiled...(Well maybe
a little!).
Tommy D's, Parents and Grandparents
were talented Singers and Musicians and were Music Teachers in the Stamps/Baxter Schools of their day and they also played and sung old time Traditional Country Music at get togethers and different functions.
Tommy D. started learning and playing the Piano
at a very early age under the guidance of Piano Master Smilin' Joe Roper of prominent
Quartet fame and a Master of the Ivories and Smilin' Joe, was a close and dear Friend of
his Parents and Grandparents. Tommy D. studied under Smilin' Joe for many Years.
Tommy D. formed his own Quartet Royal Heritage and
they were a Regional Group and travelled for 11 Years before coming off the Road to raise
Families and continue their Educations. Tommy D. served as Manager and Pianist for
the Quartet. On occassions He still Sings.
Tommy's
all time favorite Quartet were the Rebels of Tampa, Florida!.
Tommy D. is also an Ordained
Minister and has Pastored 3 Churches over the Years. He fills in when given
the Opportunity and His schedule permits for Pastors of various Denominations from time to time. He is very Evangelistic in His Preaching!.
Tommy D. is Blessed, to have Two Daughters by the names of Joy and Tori, Two Son-in-Laws by the name of Joe Parson
and Brad Carter and one beautiful Grandchild by the name of Tylea. They make up the little known Tommy
D. Mayo Family Gospel Singing Group. The Family, is self-sufficient on Various Instruments and Do Not use
Soundtracks!. They Do Not travel full time as all of the Kids are in the Medical
Profession, with the exception of Tylea, who is still in grade School so their appearances are kept Local or Regional!.
Tommy D. has been involved in Southern Gospel Music for over 45 years.
However at 24 years of age, He came to a Crossroads to go Country Glitz or Gospel Gold.
He chose Gospel Gold. Conley "London" Parris the late famous Bass Singer with
the Rebels Quartet and later Blackwood
Brothers was a Major influence in Tommy D. staying in Southern Gospel Music back
in His early 20's. He has not forgot about His Country Roots however!.

SOUTHERN GOSPEL MUSIC SHOPPE:
Tommy D. owns the Southern Gospel Music Shoppe a Christian Retail Business, that carries various Gospel Music CD's and DVD's, Bibles, Books and other fine Christian Gift Items.
Tommy D. offers
a nice Consignment Program for Gospel Artists, who would like to have another Outlet
to display and sell their Merchandise. Tommy D. invites all Gospel Artists to Contact Him, if they would be
interested in Consigning.
